1964-66 MOPAR 273 CHARGER CHROME UNSILENCED AIR CLEANER W/O CAP

DESCRIPTION

1964-66 Mopar 273 4V OEM Chrome Unsilenced Air Cleaner. The assembly has been rechromed. Overall, it presents well on the sides and comes with a reproduction Mopar air cleaner service decal. The top shows very minor issues, while the inside has been refinished. There is no provision for CAP, as this was from an earlier car. Comes with a new 273 Charger decal (loosely installed). The overall chrome rating is a 8.5/10 - it looks very good once installed.

The original base has been refinished and features a 4 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the original Carter AFB carburetors. The interior of the top remains in the factory chrome finish. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty Mopar High performance perforated air filter and period correct wing nut are included. 

This assembly presents well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1964-66 273 high performance models without CAP:

Plymouth

Barracuda, Formula S*(with the change of a decal; not included).

Dodge

Dart GT

It will fit A/B/C-body cars ranging from 62-66 as well with the smaller carburetor flange, but is only correct for 1964-66.  It will also fit 383/413 models as well from this era.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AFB) with a 4 1/8" diameter flange. It will not fit newer carburetors such as Holley, Carter AVS, or Edelbrock AFB variations. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing– customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS
