1962-66 MOPAR 383 413 UNSILENCED AIR CLEANER

DESCRIPTION

 

1962-66 Mopar 383 413 HP Unsilenced Air Cleaner without CAP. This assembly has been refinished in mid-gloss black to present a period correct image. The original base is clean and features a 4 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the early style Carter AFB carburetors.  The top features the correct ridges and size appropriate for the 383/413 HP models. The exterior features a new Mopar Air Cleaner Service Decal to complement the appearance and retain a factory look. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included. There are minor surface anomolies on the inside of the lid - out of sight once installed, but mentioned for clarity.

This assembly presents well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1962-66 383/413 high performance models that feature without CAP:

Dodge

Coronet, Polara, 330, Charger, 

Plymouth

Belvedere, Sport Satellite, Sport Fury

It will fit A/B/C-body cars ranging from 56-66 as well with the small carburetor flange, but is only correct for 1962-66.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit 4 barrel carburetors with a 4 1/8" diameter flange - namely Carter AFB. It will not fit Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations as they feature the 5 1/8" flange. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS

In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim.
