1959 CHEVROLET BEL AIR 235 L6 OIL BATH AIR CLEANER OEM
1959-61 Chevrolet 235 6 Cylinder Oil Bath Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in a period correct mid-gloss black. The base is features a 2 1/8" carburetor flange inlet and retains the bottom of the oil bath nicely. The exterior features the correct starburst indentations specific to the 59-61 cars (different from the 57-58 units). The interior is clean and comes with the factory horse hair oil bath filter - ready to fill with oil. The exterior has been garnished with a correct air cleaner service decal to reflect the factory appearance of the era. The package is completed with two original wing nuts (one for the oil bath pan and the other for the carburetor stud). This assemblies will require a stanchion/bracket for full support that mounts to the bottom cup via the wing nut/base stud (not included).
