1957-58 CHRYSLER DODGE MOPAR 354 392 HEMI SIDE DRAFT 4V AIR CLEANER

DESCRIPTION

1957-58 Mopar Chrysler Desoto Plymouth 354 392 Side Draft Hemi 4V Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in semi-gloss black to present a period correct image. The base is in nice condition and maintains the original 4 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the original Carter AFB carburetors, as well two side mounting bolts (mount pedastals not included). It does feature typical stamping striations, weld marks, and minor aging. The top features an original wing nut and internal baffle with original material - fitted with an NOS perforated air filter. The interior of the lid has been refinished; the interior of the base remains in "as produced" steel. The exterior features a new reproduction Mopar licensed Air Cleaner Service Decal to complement the appearance and retain a factory look. To complete the assembly, an NOS heavy duty perforated air filter and period correct wing nut are included. While not perfect, it is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AFB) with a 4 1/8" diameter flange only. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

RETURNS
