1936-49 CHEVROLET 3100 VINTAGE AIR CLEANER NOS 216 235 1 BARREL 6 CYLINDER

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1936-49 Chevrolet 3100 Truck Pancake Oil Bath 1 Barrel Air Cleaner. This piece is an NOS assembly that has survived 70 years in a box and remains in very good condition. It features the smooth top design with an original AC Air Cleaner silk screened decal on top and the internal flame arrestor pad - clearly showing it has never been used. The top has been polished to be more presentable - there are minor imperfections in the paint (as were all OEM parts), but retains a nice patina. The base features the standard 1 barrel carburetor flange with apparent touch-ups on the bottom side of the paint. The original mesh insert has the exterior round perforated mesh while the inside is horizontal. The original steel wire mesh is intact as well. The assembly is held together with an original wing nut. There is no baffle on this assembly. It will be packaged in its original NOS box, then within another shipping box.

This assembly is in overall very nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory Rochester carburetors or other round entry carburetors featuring a 2 1/8" flange. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
